Hi all

Just a quick one....

Can you use a keyboard and mouse with a 360 during games?

it would be really nice to use with games such as call of duty and command and conquer!

thats a shame. They dont seem to get good reviews. I wish Microsoft would just bring out a patch or something to just allow you to plug in two usb ones or something

The 360 does support them.

However, it's down to the games companies to add them into games as a control method - which they don't do.

No it's not a shame. It's brilliant that everyone uses the same hardware and you know that when you're getting headshots in COD4 that they're achieved with a bit of skill and dexterity.

If you're having difficulty with a controller, practice more, but using a mouse/keyboard on a console is just ruining the console gaming experience IMO.

I must admit I initially lamented the lack of mouse and keyboard when I bought my 360 having spent years of playing fps on the pc. However, after a bit of practice the joypad becomes very intuitive and you can become quite adept; it's no replacement for keyboard and mouse (and never will be) but it's a lot better than I expected.

I think the whole idea of having a console to use the controllers. If you want to use a mouse and keyboard, then your using the wrong equipment and should be using a PC.

Same here. I also like the analogue controls - they do actually allow a fair bit of finer control over a digital (e.g keyboard) input.
