has anyone done it ?

i was gonna set up a dual boot system with 2 hard drives ana tv tuner so i could watch films on my 360 and pause the live tv etc etc

sounds like there could be a lot of bugs though

anyone got it or used it or seen it ?

I use it fine for steaming music, pictures and the odd divx file (using transcode 360 plugin on Media Center). As long as you sort out all the firewall stuff, then there should be no problem with it connecting.

sounds like it prks pritty well then.
have u tryed it with TV, as in watching tv and recording it through you 360 ?

thats mainly what i would use it for..

I think ive got some good news regarding "media centre" guys
Have you noticed how bland it looks?

Ive been messing around lately with Vista and can confirm that when you use the X360 as an extender with Vista you actually get the same updated front end that "Vista Media Centre" has. Its received a complete facelift and looks much better yet still keeps the same style of layout with some improvements.

Media Centre 2005 XP Edition is very basic in comparison.

The only thing ive discovered thats a bit of a problem at the moment is a slight lipsync issue when playing back video / using wired connection. Though this may be down to my system. Ive tested playback of standard DVD - 1080p WMVs and the 5.1 was fine.

Surely how it looks then is to do with the version of Media Centre being used and NOT some form of LIVE update i wasnt aware of?
