360 Media Center?

Just purchased a premium xbox and im baffled about how to transfer videos from my PC to the xbox. I've got two computers, one with media center XP and the other with proffesional XP. What software / options do I need to configure to basically tranfer all my "videos" over to the xbox for repeat use?

You don't transfer them, you can watch them wirelessly but they must be in the appropriate file format (i.e. WMV).

If you are going to watch them wirelessly I recommend getting a Wireless-A router and card from you PC.

All this is after you have set up Media Center to see your PC though, in which case select Media Center from the correct blade on the Xbox360 and follow the step-by-step setup.

So basically I the media center PC has to be turned on to stream the videos to my xbox?

Yes, and they have to be wmv format or since the update it should play some mp4 files (havn't tried mp4's yet though).

Or use transcode 360 to watch other formats.
