360 Memory card stopped working?

Turned on my 360 for the first time in a month or so today, PGR3 fires up and it says it can't find a profile. Drop back to the dashboard to sign in to Live, no profiles listed. Xbox says it can't find any storage devices...

Anyone else had a memory card 'expire' on them?

Your 360 is rebelling due to lack of use!

Edit: And to actually answer your question. I haven't heard of this happening.

mine did once, again after not usin it for a couple of weeks lol. i just turned it off, tookt he memorycard out then put it back in and fired it up again, worked then lol

ye mine does it all the time so i cant boot up with memory card in not sure why but then i put it in at the dashboard everything ok.

This is happening to me a lot ( and I use my 360 two or three times a week) - after two months of use I think this is pretty terrible if you ask me

Still not had any luck getting it working again with various combinations of power on/off mem card in/out etc.

Can someone post the procedure they used to resurrect theirs?

Try taking power plug out leave it off for a good 30 mins then plug it in boot up dont put memory card in until you get to the dashboard see what happens.
