360 memory cards

Is it possible for me put my saved games onto a usb memory stick instead of a xbox memory card? It doesn`t look like you can but i thought i`d just ask. Thanks

Also for some (ridiculous, pathetic, incomprehensible) reason, you can't put Xbox1 saves from your 360 onto a 360 memory card.

I had visions of potentially losing 20+ hours of Jade Empire, but fortunately finished it
