Anyone got one of these, just got back from Canada this morning and found this in my bedroom...looks pretty cool and clips on the bottom of your 360 gamepad. Just had a quick go of it on the 360 messenger and its soooo much easier to type out a message rather than using the gamepad to choose the letters of your message.

Also has a backlight for dark situations so quite handy that is.

Only cost me £20 as well.

I ordered one of these the other day for £20 delivered, should be with me today. Looks a lot handier than a usb keyboard and should be a lot quicker than have to thumb around the keyboard with the joypad.

id get one if the price was right, i dont like using MSN when im gaming but they are handy to have when entering xbox live codes/WEP keys etc

I was just about to post a similar thread. ;)

Think I might invest in one of these for those long Halo 3 gaming sessions.

Meh. I have a headset for communications. As far as I'm concerned, the headset makes the keyboard virtually redundant. As if that weren't enough, the messenger pack even comes with the headset!

What were they thinking?

I suppose it will be handy for entering pre-paid codes, beta download codes, WEP keys, etc.

Can you use the headset to do voice convo's on msn? I know you can do it over the xbox live system but I don't think you can on a regular MSN convo.

I reviewed it a few days ago [blatant pimp] http://kainzy.org/reviews/xbox-360-messenger-kit/ [/endpimpage]

In short. Headset = Not as good as the original wired. Some gamers are saying that its too sensitive. In addition I reckon it'll break fast. The keyboard is top dogs. Lovely build quality, backlit but I wouldn't constantly remove and re-attach it because it requires a bit of force to push in.

Yeah i forgot to mention that it comes with a headset which is slightly different to the one that comes originally with the 360. Not that i use it as i have the wireless one.

But am quite happy with the chatpad, really well built and makes life so much easier to type messages out. For £20 you cant go wrong tbh.
