I juts bought a new HD projector and set it up.. The 360 looks stunning.

Some pics and info on my site here. (link to the pics is below the StarWars pic on main page)

Some of the pictures are a bit rubbish due to my lack of camera skills, but I hope you get a good idea of what it is like.

I will get some better ones uploaded soon. The are projected onto a 92" screen during the daytime too.

Roll on my garage conversion ...... one day, one day before I'm dead I'm going to convert my garage into a home cinema with a screen like that.

Optoma rock btw. They also make (made) the DLP RPTVs for Sagem and are based in Watford. I've been down to their R&D labs and had a play with their kit, marvellous stuff.

Not quite as lovely as the cinema I went to on Monday :

I cant recommend this PJ enough. I have now set it up properly (well almost just need to hide the wires/cables that are tacked on ceiling and walls) and it looks really really good.

Im ready for the football tonight. Apart from the beer.

I am going to take some more photos later and i`ll upload them to my site, and update the blog thing to explain what I have done so far and what problems I have had...

Laters.

We just got an Optoma projector at work... worst projector ever. It stutters and it's colour reproduction is quite poor (although partly to do with the aging Sky Digi box - the old one was better quality and this was to replace it).

I keep meaning to get the model number to check about it.

Does have a nice menu system though.

Can you take some photo's from further back so we can really see what it's like? Cheers.

I most certainly will do just that...

I am off work on wednesday so I have the house to my self. I`ll get some good photos put on my site.

Ok I have now cleaned up the living room so with out further ado, will take some pics.

I should have them on my site sometime this morning for you all to look at.

I will notify this thread when the updates on the site are done..

Please dont be jealous.. You too could have something like what I have got..:p

I have to tell you. It does look so good.

There are plenty of people out there with much better setups, belive me.

Considering the amount of backlight coming through that's a hell of a picture.
I want it.

That is one thing that has annoyed me.. The screen I have is a Beamax and on their website they say they are total blackout screens. like you said there is some light seeping through. It is totaly viewable during the day but excels (sp/grmr) at night.

Might get some Black spray paint and redo the back of the screen.. and get some uber thick curtains. Could actually put Garfield in the window cos hes fat and can block out any amount of light...:p

Why not get a blackout roller blind for behind the curtains?
