360 Pad Resyncing Without Turning On 360

I have a nifty Wireless thingie for my PC to so I can use the 360 pad in games for Windows. However, whenever I want to sync it up to the PC I have to turn the pad on and hit the sync button, which in turn also switches the 360 on.

Is there a way to sync the pads with other devices without powering on the console?

in a word, no.

if its synced to the 360, u will have to do what your doing, it will turn on the 360 as its last thing it was synced to. if its synced to the pc then it will just turn on the pad and you will have to manualy turn on the 360 and re sync it.

to solve all your problems get a 2nd pad, have 1 synced to each.
