i just started playing my 360 again after not using it for about 6 months and the battery pack wont charge anymore, playing with the cable doesnt bother me but when i turn off the system it stays in a low power mode where it is trying to charge the controller

anyone know of a way to fix a battery that will no longer charge? if not ill buy a new one

its probably dead :( get a new one.

I'm using those 4800Mah from fleebay and they are great because they last way longer than the official batteries and also cheap too.

I dont use my pad too often and suffer this problem...

Cure...

Connect cable and wait a few seconds till the charge LED changes colour, unplug cable, then rince and repeat, I normally have to do this several times before the charge light will stay on and actually charge the pack :)

thanks for the replies :) ill try what UKDTweak said and if that fails then its time to get a new battery

edit:
ok so i just realised that im a idiot, i decided to use the charge cable on my pc instead to save turning on the 360 and as i plugged the cable into the pad i felt the battery pack snap into place :o no wonder it wasnt charging for me :D
