360 pads and PCs?

I'm a PC gamer and have always used a PS2 pad where compatible with my games. However, it seems that many new games are not supporting this which is forcing me to consider a 360 pad. However, i'm confused as to how they work with a PC given that they are wireless :confused:

I realise that many of you will think i'm stupid for asking but i would appreciate if someone can explain how they work?

Wired pad + USB port.

Google "Xbox 360 wireless receiver" for wireless.

Aaaah, didn't know they did wired pads, i've never had any experience with the Xbox you see. Thanks anyway.

Yes, but prob a competitor. It's called the xbox 360 wireless crossfire reciever and costs 10-15 quid.
