360 pal50/pal60

trying to play a game and it says it doesnt support pal 50, change to pal 60.

i look were it says go, system>console settings>display but i cant find were to change it. i can only change the resolution and reference levels.

connected via VGA cable

what do i do?

Swap to composite cable, the options appear, change them , then swap back to VGA. (This was standard fix when this problem occurred on a lot of games when it launched) Dunno if the options have changed in subsequent dashboard updates.

Plug the 360 in via component, change the setting, change back to VGA.

Sounds stupid, is stupid, but that's what you have to do.

also, never had a shock of a scart socket before
