360 play and charge OR quick charge?

I got the quick charge kit and a couple of battery packs

my missus simply didnt want wires all over the sit/r floor..the quick charge kit sits on the kitchen bench out the way

Not really, just means you can still use the pad when it needs charging (which doesn't take long), makes perfect sense in my book.

If you're really against using the play and charge during a game because it "defeats the point of having a wireless controller", you could just plug it in when your console is off as the USB still draws power so it will still charge.
