360 playing up - games freeze get weird lines on tv screen help !!!

360 has just started playing up

all games load not an issue, then after a bout 5 mins the game freezes and get weird lines on the tv screen - then its unrespnsive

got it back about 3 or 4 months ago from microsoft after fixing the 3 rings of death

its out of warranty 2yrs plus

any help appreciated

sounds like a faulty gpu which will need to be repaired by microsoft. details are in the sticky

had a similar thing happen to mine just before I got the 3rrod. its due back tomorrow. took about 3 weeks from the first time it happened to getting the 3rrod.

If it's a GPU error and it's out of warranty he's not covered unless it's the 3 RRoD.

is there a way to get the rrod to happen more frequently ?

None reliable ones. When my GPU died I tried the towels, it didn't work.
