it could be due to the HDMI/HDD Upgrade etc upgrades coming out (or atleast according to rumours its happening)

Well they are saying it could be up to $100 cheaper and just before xmas a large uk chain were selling premiums for £249 so it looks like you will be able to get a premium for around £220 or even less.

I see a price drop coming either PS3 time here, or a few months before this 'new xbox' comes out to shift the old gear off the shelves.

Those are only analysts talking, and to be hones I wouldn't really trust them. Granted the 360 has been out a good 14 months nearly, it does need a little drop for the standalone premium system. My guess it'll be around the £220-£240 mark for a price drop which would happen soon after the Euro PS3 launch.

Sell my old one to a good friend for a low price and get a new bundle with some games I don't have.

TBH they have already dropped in many places... You can get a Premium, Extra Controller, PGR3, GOW and Arcade for £299... If the price had not dropped that little bundle would have cost over £400...

I got Premium, Extra Wireless Controller, Arcade, PGR3, GOW and Vegas for £303.

I'm pretty sure a price drop has already happened.

On bundles, but you still can't buy the system on its own for cheap, have not seen it less than £275 normally.
