360 problem

So ive had my xbox for 2 years this november. Not had any RROD (thought i did once but id just not plugged the power in properlly) however the bugger has started crashing, and not on a small scale. I can barely get past the intro scenes before it conks out infact i havn't managed to get past the intro in GH3 for 2 weeks, same for RSV2.

Is this covered by the warranty extension? And has anyone got any ideas, not keen on taking it apart, would prefere send it back if possible rather than void the warranty.

Not covered by the warranty until it red rings, but I don't think you'll be waiting too long.

Whatever you do, don't cover it in a towl and leave it on as that would speed the process up ;)
 
So best thing to do is leave it on and try to make it kill itself? Ive not touched it in a while due to my HND finishing in this year and silly amounts of work to be done, this has been going on for a month or so.

Outrageous that this isn't covered by the warranty really, cost me £350 albeit as part of a good value bundle and its died already. My n64 is still going strong!
