So I am passing my 360 on to a fellow forum member but I wish to also pass over the 10'ish months remaining on my Xbox live subscription, but I obviously want to delete my card details... I'm having a few problems trying to do this though so any advice would be much appreciated.

I have also bought a few XBLA games etc which I also want to leave on for the new owner. If he creates a new login ID etc can he still play games downloaded to the console from another account?

Not sure about the games, but removing card details is a right pain in the ass. You're best off phoning MS to do it, but unless somethings changed there's no guarantee they will be able to help.

Maybe deleting your profile from the HDD will also get rid of the cards?

All your XBLA games are tied to your gamertag I'm afraid, I would just phone up MS and cancel the Subscription all together, since there have been problems in the past with a few forum members still getting charged for the subscription even though their cards expired and the only way to stop the subscription fully is to phone MS up.

iirc it should be under your system tab under memory then on either a memory card or harddrive, but even if you delete the gamertag your cards may still be charged a years subscription so thats why I said ring MS and make sure to cancel it first.

Although I dont see why fake details wouldnt work, then get the new owner to enter theirs?

You cant actually change the card number. Just the expiry date etc.
