I have my 360 hooked up to my pc monitor and the audio leads into the line in socket of my soundcard. When I use my usb headphones I can listen to pc stuff but not anything from the 360. Is there any way i can play 360 games with the sound coming through the headphones?
Unfortunately my wife works night shift and at the moment I can't play the 360 during the day with any sound. Solution??

why not just use the headphones that come witht he 360, or use the wireless ones?

Buy something like the logitech speaker and amp set that take an optical line in. Plug the sound into that and some headphones into the headphone socket.

ok...my headphones are usb with their own built in soundcard type of thing (sennheiser). wouldnt you think that if i connected them to the 360 via usb they would work?
They don't seem to though

The X360 will not have any drivers for your headphones, so not it wont work.

There must be some sort of program out there that will direct line-in from one soundcard to the USB sound device... try asking in the sound forum, may get a better idea.

On your PC:

Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices
Audio tab
Sound playback device - select your output USB headphone device
Sound recording device - select whatever your line input device is.

I have mine to use the recording device as the mic on my webcam and the playback device is the Sigmatel audio. Should work similar I would think.
