360 rechargable battery pack

Anyone else noticed a year down the line that their rechargable battery packs aren't holding as much charge as they did? After a full charge mine is dropping by one bar after just a coupe of hours play, not really a problem just that charging has gone from once in a blue moon to every so often.

Tempted to pick up a fast charge kit or whatever they are called instead of using the play and charge but everytime I go to buy one I find a game I'd rather spend the £20 on

Rechargable batteries don't last forever.

If you want to extend the life only charge it when its charge is fully gone.

i know how you feel, every time i go to buy another controller and a charge dock i end up getting alode of games, like lastnight i bought lost planet collectors edition and NFS most wanted off then net insted of the gear i really wanted , but it was just too tempting.

i did find the power drained quickly at first then got longer then went down again the longer i had it

How can you tell how much charge is left in the battery pack?

Press the guide button, it appears in the top left corner, you also get a guage next to it if using the wireless headset
