I bought an Xbox 360 from a big catalogue store when they had a deal on about a month ago.
The Drive is faulty and it scratches discs (the 360 is never moved whilst on), the scratches are minute - but level 8 doesn't work on Halo and I can't go to London on PGR4.
Firstly - From the sticky I understand that sending it back to Microsoft works reasonably well, takes around 2 weeks and you don't have to pay for postage either way.
My Question is this; Will they send me a box/postage sticker to one address and redeliver the console to another address?
But secondly - can I just take it back to the store?
Will I need to return my Hard Drive or will they let me swap it over?
What happens to my downloaded games - will they work on the new console even if you're not signed on to Xbox Live?
