360 Resolution

Hi. I have my 360 hooked up to my 19" widescreen monitor (1440x900) via the HD VGA cable. Which resolution should i have the console set to for the best visuals??

ok i will wait. oh and why wouldnt 1360x768 be the one to choose?

so 1280x768 will be clearer and sharper/ more detailed than 1360x768?
god i cant get me head round this stuff :eek:

ok slight problem. when i set the 360 dashboard to 1280x768 my monitor actually sets itself to 1024x768. it works at 1280x720 and looks gorgious but obviously things are slightly stretched, graphically. i dont understand why this is happening. also i cant see a way to adjust the monitor manually. any help appreciated....

it's an LG L194WT Flatron wide.

19" widescreen...normal resolution 1440x900.
