360 RPGs ?

As above really, there aren't many RPG's on 360. I didn't rate Oblivion at all.

It was just totally uninspiring,it left me constantly thinking "Why am I bothering with this game again " whilst playing.

Mass Effect is different though, would definitely recommend it but don't expect it to completely blow you away - it is actually quite linear.

:edit: Haven't played the two you mention.

Enchanted Arms was good fun, it's pretty cheap too!

I've also got both Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon, but have only just started playing Sonata, not touched Blue Dragon yet :)

Have only played the demo of Blue Dragon but own Eternal Sonata.
Blue Dragon didnt really grab me but i think this was due to the demo dumping you mid story with no clue of whats happening.
Eternal Sonata on the other hand I really cant get enough of, While the combat is slightly repatative I love the strategic side of dark and light and the of the echo combos are fantastic to watch. The storyline is quite linear but the environments are beautifully designed.

I've been playing Blue Dragon recently, a very good game IMO.

The cutscenes can be a bit annoying at times since it seems to stop the flow of things but other than that I would recommend it.

I've played and finished every rpg on the 360 (bar Mass Effect which I'm working through).

I'd rate them in the following order:

JRPG:
Blue Dragon ~ Great game play, looks great and plenty to do (A)
Enchanted Arms ~ Good story, good characters, looks pretty good, not a bad jrpg (C+)
Eternal Sonata ~ Beautiful to look at and interesting story but repetitive combat, and poor dungeon design (C-)
Phantasy Star Universe ~ Fun story but a bit graphicaly dated and can get a bit tiresome towards the end (D)

RPG:
Mass Effect ~ Amazing, ya' know the rest. (A)
Oblivion ~ Super, vast, great open world with lots to do. Main quest could be better and Shivering Isles (goty edition) is top notch. (A)
Two Worlds ~ Better than expected, if you're willing to put some time in and don't mind a more traditional rpg with a bit of a dodgy engine you'll love it. (B-)

There's also Marvel: Ultimate Alliance which is more a hack/slash rpg but still great fun (espcecially coop).

If you want a jrpg get Blue Dragon first.

Again aside from Mass Effect I found Enchanted Arms very enjoyable. I'm only about 4 hours in but it is very similar to Final Fantasy (in a good way). As someone above said it can be had cheaply now.

Currently playing Blue Dragon, an it's pretty good. Not amazing, A bit dragonball ish with respects to the graphics, a bit kiddish too, But then theres swearing thrown in to catch you off guard. Strange game. :p

Lost Odyssey is out on 360 at some point isnt it? The RPG made by Ex Squaresoft members. That looks to be in the runnings for best 360 RPG. But I don't know when its out.

Lost Odyssey has been getting some very bad press, and it's out in Japan soon so it's hard to see much of a turnaround before release.

It's out this Friday in Japan, Jan for the US and Feb for us. It got a pretty good Famitsu score (10/9/9/9 off the top my head) and looks stunning though there's reported to be as much as 20 hours of fmv/in game cut scenes and it comes on 4 DVDs so we'll have to see.
