360 running fine!

Well everyone keeps complaining how big a failure rate because there's maybe 50 posts out of thousands of users complaining of failure. So i just thought id say mines runnning fine :)
 
badgermonkey, sort your sig out mate, it's about twice as big as you're allowed. Read the FAQ please.

Mine has been fine for the 4 days I've had it though :)

I just got mine back from microsoft 4 day turnaround they sent me a recon. No one is whinging about failures, I havent whinged about mine. I fully expected it to fail so I was angry or shocked. The new one they have shipped me will fail too but Ive got a 3 year warranty so am not too fussed. Eventually they will bring a 2nd generation out and I will send my first gen back for one of those.

**** loads of people on here have had failures.

Exactly mate I'm well pleased with that turnaround. Pick up on monday return by thursday. I had my hopes on friday but to be honest was expecting 10 days. Thats first class service. They did mention something about priority to extended waranty holders but I wasnt taking much notice. I just thought yeah right.

My wife phoned me and said the build date was 20 dec for the new one. My old one was 23rd december. See if it lasts more than 4 months :D Hopefully it will still have the quiet drive.

That doesn't make it right though mate does it, just because you expected it to fail. If I'm spending £280 plus on a bit of kit, I don't expect any problems at all. I've been lucky with mine, it's worked ok since launch day but I feel sorry for the likes of yourself and others who have had problems, it's just not acceptable in my opinion.

I just recentlty bought a DS Lite for £99.99, took it home and it had one dead pixel, took it straight back and got a replacement. People said to me whats wrong it's only one pixel, it's not the point though. Manufacturers shouldn't release dodgy kit, end of story.
 
well at the mo, mine is a ok!

Though i have been over protective during these thunderstorms, making sure that i unplug it when the lightning starts!
 
My launchday 360 is ok apart from a replaced power supply and hard drive :rolleyes: ..Also its getting very noisy :eek: and a tad hot.
Knowing my luck it,ll completely pack up after the 1 year warranty :(
