360 - Saved Games Question

Total noob to the 360 as I hardly use it. I have been playing co-op split screen mode in GoW2 with a mate. The thing is I am off to his house this weekend and the saved game is on my console, not his. Is it possible to use a USB key and copy the saved games to his so we can continue where we left off?

I do have a USB key, I don't have a proper 360 memory card though. What are my options? Thanks

Take your HDD?

Either take the HDD or use a memory card is the only option i think. I got a memory card for £5 off the bay so not too expensive

I usually take my HDD to my friends house when we play, but incase i forget i can always recover my gamertag on his xbox.

If you are planning on doing the save game thing, just take care. I am sure you will be 100% fine, but i have heard of people being banned. I know you are not doing anything wrong, buts its like game saving

It is also worth noting that not all game saves are transferable, some are locked to the device you choose when you first play the game.

Thanks for your replies although I am a bit confused now ...

Can I just take the hard drive or is that going to cause a problem. We are not playing on Live anyway, so can always unhook the network cable. My only concern is if not wiping any of his data after swapping back to his hard drive afterwards?

It won't wipe any data.

you need to take his HDD out to put yours in so it won't get wiped when it's not even connected to anything unless you wave lots of big magnets over it or something daft

I put all my vids and game addons on my 120gb and use my two 512mb Memory Units to store game saves and Gamer tags. Makes life so much easy.
