The bigger shortage is still the peripherals for the consoles. I managed to track down a VGA lead a few weeks ago in gamestation, but it is the only one apart from that I have seen in my area.

Hard drives are silly to get hold of, I have been trying since I got hold of my 360 in december to get the HDD, but still had not luck

I will belive this when i see it, i bet harddrives will be stupidly hard to buy still, my local game shop had 1 harddrive in on release, no more since.

Still online sales of console is hard to get and Hard Drive are extinct hard to get hold of like Jabbs said.

I read some guff about the shortage being because of Infineon, they could'nt get the chips the right speeds or some carp like that.

lots available around manchester.

My local game / gamestation / asda / tesco all have a plentiful supply of premiums in.

No hard drives though

Still makes me chuckle, while takeing back the games I had to buy with my core pack into the nearest Game store the guy behind the till said they had a HDD returned unwanted, did I want it. How I smiled, full refund on the games to.

Maybe seel the core and buy a premium?

That way HDD will cost you about £80 if you're lucky.

No they werent with mine, you have to pay 9.99 for a rechargable battery, then the plug and play kit.

So if you buy the bundle from Game you can get a refund on the games? or have I misunderstood you entirely?

Yes you can get a refund on the games, when you pay for the bundle online it gives you a breakdown of what the games cost individually if you were to return them.

A mate did that very same thing yesterday.

The plug and play kit comes with a rechargeable battery. (or mine did)

So you only need to buy one P&P kit and then rechargeable batteries for every other controler.

Yeah, you get a rechargable battery pack and the play and charge in the kit.
Or you could just but a few rechargable AA's and a charger, works out a bit cheaper if you know where to look online for one ;-)
