360 sound crackling

I noticed this in borderlands after i downloaded Knoxx DLC at points of the game with high explosions my sound does a huge crackling distortion sound. And now just playing The Saboteur it does the same thing.

I've tryed 3x hdmi cables that i have and they all do the same thing
I've set my sound to default via my TV settings
I've changed my sound settings for both games

playing DVD's via 360 / ps3 all fine

seems to me like could be your h/ana scaler chip or the port itself maybe or an intermittant fault with your tv ?

I hope it isnt the TV its just over a month old
