360 sound through headphones?

Noobish question this no doubt but if I want to use headphones for my sound and also use a mic, how do I do it? Cant seem to see any options for it

Also is there a way of using a proper headset and mic rather than the one piece thing that comes as standard?

I play the sound from the 360 through my PC connected to my headphones instead. If you want to use the headset at the same time, look at the option below, or simply hang the headset around your neck and have voices play through the speakers only.

I normally put both on at the same time, resulting in 1 ear of ingame sounds and 1 ear of voices, looks silly but works

Thanks guys, after a few searches on google I think I will set voices to come through the speakers (i.e. normal headset) and make a converter lead to plug the headsets mic into the controller. Seems the cheapest way and means I can still use my normal headset and mic and ditch that piece of rubbish that comes as standard
