360 - Split Screen Co-Op Titles (assistance req)

I have GoW and Perfect Dark Zero currently for the 360. I bought them as they can be played split screen co-operatively. Both games are awesome for this. I know its all about xbox Live, but for me I love playing a game with one of my mates without being in seperate houses. Can you tell me if there are any other games that have split-screen co-op games which are pretty good? Does Call of Duty 4 have this function?

Halo 3 - but it's pretty rubbish 'single' player mode.

Why not try split screen on xbox live too?

Halo 3 and GoW and CoD3 support this, shame CoD 4 doesn't

My mate has Halo 3 and said you cannot do split screen co-op? Is this not the case? Am a bit confused now.

I don't want to go on Live, so can you confirm what titles are co-op split screen.

From what I can gather CoD 3 you can but CoD 4 you cannot, is that right?

You can do split screen coop in Halo 3 (I've played split screen with my brother in law).
Other split screen coop games I've played are: Rainbow Six: Vegas, Kameo, Lego Starwars (great fun coop btw) and Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

Eternal Sonata is coop. Don't think it's split screen but it's an RPG so doesn't need to be.
