360 to win 7

Hi all,

I have ripped a lot of my movies on to my harddrive, now, I can share these movies over the network with the other PC however my 360 just won't find it, either the PC or using media player.

The 360 has been configured and has connected to Live and updated and is currently downloading a demo so that bit works fine.

Currently using Win 7 Ultimate and a Netgear DG834G router.

Anyone any suggestions?

try media center

Download media centre, also, go to your network in my computer (network is on the left), click xbox 360 and properties, then allow to all or what ever you want.

should do the trick.

I tried media center as well as just connecting to the PC but my PC just can't see the 360.

Have you added it as an extender in media centre?

Any firewall installed? Can you ping the 360 from your PC?

I couldn't add an extender, but I haven't tried pinging it either. I will try when I get home
