360 Transfer cable

Hi,

Does the transfer cable do profiles too? I've bought myself a 120gb and i cant seem to recover my gamertags onto it, as some of them dont seem to have email addresses anymore, but they work fine on the 20gb one (the old one) - anyone know what to do? :S

The transfer cable should have taken your hard drive and virtually "imaged" it onto the new drive. Everything should transfer.

Sorry, I should have said, i dont have the cable yet was looking to buy one to get my profiles across but wasnt sure if they got transferred too. Thanks you answered my question

Shouldn't need to buy one, you can get one free from microsoft.
