360 + vga + tft

How exactly does this work ? Got my 360 today and a VGA cable, Im quite miffed my monitor doesnt have a audio input other than a 3.5mm jack so I can't get sound, but I just want the HD picture to work for now

TFT with a VGA connector, VGA Cable + 360 = no worky

Both the VGA connectors are female, thus, dont plug into each other, am i being really stupid or does this not work? How does everyone else connect their VGA cable to their VGA monitor?

now ive got an optical sound cable, or the sound connected to the vga (red and yellow composites)

is there any method of putting these into a 3.5 mill jack? is there an adaptor or do i need special speakers as well, because id sooner use the ones in my tft despite how poor they are

checked, cant see one :( ! hoped i might have missed it in the madness i unpacked it in but still cant see it :( any idea where i could get one?

mr man, bought it as a bundle off ebay, so maybe he forgot about it as it was a core, and he had upgraded it:( will have to drop him an email, reason was i got it on buy now, for 120inc with GOW and HD VGA Cable :eek:
 
yeah worth a try emailing them see if they have it lying around, failing that prob find what you need at a local audio shop, wont cost much I dont think :)

yea so did mine

also any audio place will sell you an aux - 3.5mm connector thatl go into your monitor from the vga cable :)

an dive seen those female - female connectors in the MM on here before , think some gfx cards come with them , try the wanted section

Is it possible to get an adapter that allows a monitor to have 2 display adapters connected to it (Xbox & PC)? Sort of 2 VGA sockets to 1 VGA socket.
 
i hope so, so i dont have to keep switching my 360 and pc around, ill have to live with it for now tho as ive never seen one :o
 
I have a spare phono to 3.5mm plug... ;)

look for KVM switches, belkin do a good range of these :)
