Hey guys,

Just wondering if there's any way of playing .AVI files on my 360 to my HD TV, just peeves me off having to convert!

Bit rubbish about the limited playback.

Any help'd be grand, thanks!

:)

or TVersity - little trickier to setup imo but just as functional.

Media Centre is prettier though :p

Actually got a problem with MC atm:

Ep1 of dexter will transcode & play with no sound. Burn it to disc & it will play sound but no picture (through my DVD player)

Neither solution is usable & trying to sync them using remote controls is so hit & miss it's not funny :p Any ideas?

Sorry to Hi-Jack :)

I'm trying TVersity now, got it working and everything, but, how do i make it so that the files stretch to the resolution of my TV?

I've tried altering the transcoder settings, but to no avail.

32" Samsung, Bordeaux model if i remember correctly.

Cheers for your help so far guys

Should be a setting in TVersity to tell it what size you want the files displayed at...Been a while since I used it though :(

Yeah i've sorted that now thanks!

Although, the video on some now stutter when being played back on the tv (audio doesnt), is this due to processor limitations?

Where in the video does it stutter? towards the end? If so thats a known issue in TVersity but I understand there are some workaround fixes :)

nah its the beginning, and the whole thing.

Guessing its processor power, or the file...
