360 vs ps3 vs wii

As far as I was aware, M$ came to be because Bill gates and Microsoft are one of the richest companies in the world. I don't understand why that's a bad thing, I've seen it used lots on various forums, and wasnt aware it was a bad thing

Yep, that's why it's used. People accuse MS of taking peoples money, over-charging etc.. The irony of people using M$ isn't lost on me however.

Edit: I wish my PS3 was white :(.

Just for the record if I type PS£ it's an accident, I've done it several times now holding shift down a fraction of a second too long.

Lol, the context you usually use it in is a pro-sony, anti-ms one hence people seeing it as baiting.
 
Each of the consoles are better at different things, but only one was truely innovative.

The Wii has opened itself up to a much, much larger market than any other console has previously had, and had actually revolutionised gaming consoles. They stopped chasing the graphics and went for something new, and it has paid of massively. It takes a lot to get peoples parents who are shy with technology to be genuinely interested in a games console.

And in terms of sales... well, we all know.

However, if you want to play more traditionally, and you are into crisp graphics etc then you need to decide between a 360 and a PS3.

They are all great :)
 
hate threads like these coz it just brings fanboys from under the rocks they hide under and start talking crap :(

I think it's all down to personal preference really.

I've said it before that my preference goes.

Wii

However I will concede that I use my PS3 more, but thats for watching DVDs and BluRays. The 360 gets gamed on more. Whilst the Wii becomes more of a novelty after 3-4 months.

I could never use a 360 to compliment my HTPC as a media extender as it's just too noisy, the PS3 on the other hand is a perfect companion with it's nice design, quiet operation and DVD/BluRay capabilities. That and it has HDMI built in whilst my 360 doesn't. (I've got an old Premium model bought many moons before HDMI versions came out or the Elite was even thought about).

Like I said, it's personal preference and if you take offence to somebody preferring one over the other - then you have to question what kind of moron you really are.

If that is what you believe then so be it, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it, your perfectly entitled to your opinion, I have nothing to prove here, I am who am, I have more important things to fill my mind with than worries of what people may or may not think about me on an internet forum, since I've been a member here this place is continually teaching me one single important lesson, one that I'm still far from mastering although I hope to improve upon, that lesson is tolerance, thankyou for helping me with that.

I've never seen a 360 fanboy write that on here, it's far more common from the Sony fanboys though.
 
I've seen plenty of people say they won't buy a PS3 because they hate Sony's business practices (not on here that I can remember mind you ), which is laughable when they are hugging an MS product. Same goes for anyone who thinks Nintendo loves them, /slap, they don't, stop it.
