360 Wheel

from what i hear the official one is the only one really worth getting...proper force-feedback (with mains connection) and top build quality set it appart from all the others - but yes...it is damn expensive - which is why i've not got one.

I'll second the MS wheel, just excellent VFM, it's absolutely superb for Forza, the only 1 minor improvement is allowing some adjustment of the throttle travel as ultra fine control is a bit tricky..

I find dirt and forza massively harder with the wheel, in fact i would go as far to day that dirt is almost impossible with a wheel, in the buggies it just goes mad and jiggles like crazy. Makes it ultra hard to play imo, i have the official wheel and paid 80 quid for it.

I found both forza and dirt much harder with the wheel initially, but after putting in a few hours with the wheel I improved massively on both. My only dislike with the wheel is that the dead spot is too big.

It really is hard getting to grips with a wheel after being used to a controller! I went for the easy way out and unplugged it from the mains, no force feedback fighting against you, will have to plug it back in once I'm used to it..

I've been playing Forza 2 on my Xbox360 with the MS Wheel and it is absolutely fantastic. I am a little worried though about build quality. I hardly used my wheel before I got Forza 2 but now the wheel is definately feeling 'not new' a bit loose and a bit worn. I can't see it lasting terribly long to be honest. My right paddle doesn' feel the same as the left one anymore and the wheel is now making sqweaking noises

You may as well se the pad. It's that feedback that lets you know what the car is doing!
