Very quick question.

Is a wireless connection with the MS adapter and a wireless router reliable? It will be about 5 metres from the router, but there will be a wall in the way. My only experience of gaming and wireless wasn't great, but that was at a much greater distance and through 2 floors.

Will I be let down by dropped connections or is it pretty good?

No that will likely be a full strength signal. I'm about the same on a wireless adapter. Signal dips on my laptop from time to time but the MS adapter always stays solid.

Awesome, just wanted to check before I spent the money on the adapter. I have a hole in the wall I could run a cable through, but it already has a Virgin media cable going through and i don't think another one would fit. I'll just go wireless :)

Awesome. Now the only problem is the fact it is £50

I got both of mine second hand from scouting here and avforums. I got both of mine for around £38.

Depends how quickly you need one.
