360 Wireless headset

For people who own these, how many hours play do you get out of it before it needs re-charging?
Apparently it has up to 8 hours of life before it needs a re-charge, but there's no way I'm getting anywhere near that! I'm thinking mine is borked :mad:

You get a mains charger with it, but you can't use it whilst it charging so it's back to the wired headset when it needs a charge.

Makes me wonder why I bought it in the first place!?

I thought they would maybe at least give you a usb chager for it.

It does charge real quick, and for me, I get a plenty of hours of use before it needs a charge.

To be honest, it is only worth getting if the headset's wire bugs you.

The wires did bug me and a lot of the time I speak to people whilst not gaming, also being able to not carry the controller around is a nice.

Could be borked mate, i last charged mine about a week ago and i use it quite often and i still have 2 bars remaining on my battery. Although when i charge it, it tends to be when im sleeping so wont be using the headset.

What i would suggest is to use the headset as normal then when your done with it, plug it into the charger and let it charge overnight etc etc. That way u wont lose any 'talking-time'.

Yep the wire is a pain ans I also talk to friends too even if I'm not playing. I'll go to get a drink or something and carry on talking, so not having to carry the pad round is excellent. I'm just convinced it's running out of charge too soon.

Spawn, would that not damage it? I thought you should only re-charge when completely dead?

Dunno mate, hasnt damaged my headset as of yet. Like people said above, you should 8 hrs useage out of it. If you arent afte a full charge then theres something wrong and you should get it replaced

Use mine on both the PC and Xbox, It lasts plenty of time. Only once gone flat and that was after a saturdays gaming and forgot to put it on charge before bed.

Im actually thinking of getting another on so I dont have to keep resyncing mine form PC to 360 and back.

Quite the opposite. Shouldn't let it drop much below 30-40% before charging, just like any Lithium-ion/polymer battery.

mine tends to last about 7-8 hours, i just charge it over night. it's only gone flat on me once when i had a very long session on rb6:vegas. i'm addicted to that game, it's like the new counterstrike for me, lol :eek:
