Anyone els efound it really hard to adjust from mouse keyboard to joypad / joystick , really like GOW but just can't my head round the joypad for FPS /3rd person. Anyone got any tips on how to over come this thanks in advance

I had the same problem, just keep playing, start with the sensitivity turned down, try invert the y axis and see if it helps you any. Most of all, just keep practicing!

Takes a while, but not too long.

As a long term PC gamer, coming to consoles fairly recently, I found it difficult to adjust.

After a few weeks it becomes second nature.

Strange thing is I found it difficult to come from keyboard and mouse to a hand controller, but I can switch back to playing PC games with no opposite effect.

The only thing I do find though, is just now I need to play through one 360 game at a time. I find jumping between say.....Rainbow 6 and Saints Row, really confusing when swapping back to playing each seperate game. :p

i got used to it after a few hours

although i did co-op on gow pretty much straight away, with a mate who had just got the 360 too. so we were both pretty pants at aiming :p

should have known it would be practice

Oh well back to it ...........
What were you expecting? Try playing with the controller upside down? Use your feet? :p :p

Pro's have no problems switching

Kidding but no I have no problems switching from Keyboard/Mouse to Controllers. (Except PS2 controller because that's the worse controller ever for FPS games.)

Ha ha not the I'm rubbish at game I'm moaning about just the fact it is a lot more difficult then I imagined it to be :p

Ahh, so thats why I suck at GoW then! I'm a leftie too though, so for that reason I never got into FPS seriously on the PC until the last year or so when I forced myself to use my right hand to mouse, feels like second nature now!

Don't forget you can plug the 360 Live Headset into the bottom of the Pad when it's connected to the PC and bam it works as a USB headset!

Not when using the modified XBCD driver though :( I have to use that driver for GTA:SA, as the standard MS driver has different axis assignments, so the right stick doesn't work. If someone knows how to remap the axis' with the standard driver, I'd love to hear!

For the mo though, for PC use, 360 controller with XBCD driver and Pinnacle Game Profiler are For The Win!
