[360]Xbox Live Connection Help - Pretty Please

HI guys,

I'm having trouble getting the 360 connected,

have the Wireless adapter and its connecting to an ORigio wireless ADSL
router.

If i go through the motions it connects to the home network, gets to IP address waits a while, then comes up as confirmed, then immediately goes to DNS and comes up as failed,

all other internet accessing computers in the house still browse t'internet as normal.

any suggestions?
 
are you on nthell mate? they are having problems at moment, and im 99% sure its this problem (if your live was working perfect before)
 
first attempt to connect to live since i got the 360 (never had the original xbox) so its my first attempt ever to get into live

and am on bulldog.

all other services are running fine, just live.

tried it wired and its still the same, no DNS, wondering if its router settings or something bulldog end?
 
issues with the DNS, tried a different one and it worked.

CAn you use the live screen to enter CC details to obtain a gold membership? or do i need to go out and buy one?

You can do it from Live on the Xbox, no need to leave the house :p

Edit: ALthough you may find it cheaper in the shops, especially if you can pick up a Live starter pack with Halo 2 or something
