3600x upgrade worth it?

Hey all, I'm using a AMD 3600x with a tomahawk max B450 and a nvidia RTX 2070 super. Im looking to get some more frames and the 2 cpu upgrades ive been looking at are the ryzen 7 5800x and 5800x3d. they have a significant price difference and would like to know if you think id actually see a worth while fps boost. I play at 1440p most of the time and play everything from brand new games to old stuff
