3600XT to 5600X worth it for SAM?

I have a x370 board at the moment which I highly suspect to be responsible for random lockups I get every now and then (memory related), been looking at getting a 6800XT on release, do you guys think a 5600X+B550 would be worth it for the extra ~10% GPU boost + 12% CPU IPC gain + no more lockups? Anyone else in a similar position?
 
I would wait untill 6800xt is out, check gaim on both 3600xt and 5600x then decide, otherwise just sell this one as faulty and get another used or brand new mob.
