i'm going to purchase a 37" lcd running at 1920x1080 to replace my dell 2405 and i've seen it first hand connected up to d-sub and was impressed but can it also be connected via dvitohdmi adaptor and will it work and will it be an improvement on the d-sub.
i'll be using it for gaming and tv viewing so quality is an issue. Also running it on a 8800 gts 512
thanks in advance

I use a 37" LCD as my monitor (1920x1080) it looks A-MAZING, it blows my old Benq out of the water it's much more vivid and of course the size is awesome.

I use HDMI to connect my PC to it, D-SUB looked really blurry compared to HDMI so I would try the DVI/HDMI route if you can.

At first I thought 1920x1080 is too low a res for a 37" I was wrong, it's pin sharp not 'blurry' or anything.
