3700 or 3800?

hi, just wondering if you could help me out again

Which chip is better for overclocking, 3700 San Diego or 3800 Venice, i have read reports of the 3700 being clocked to 2.8ghz with artic cooling 64 but the 3800 is only marginly dearer but with only a 512 cache.
And what mobo would you suggest to use with these chips.

3700 b much better. 1mb cache, plus ppl r getting grt o/c the now from the 3700.

Clock speeds can be increased with overclocking, but cache can't.

another vote for the 3700 - mine is clocked to 2.7 as per sig.
