Hi all.

Its probly been asked a thousand times but here goes.

I already have 3700+ sandiago clocked to about 2.6 stable using zalman fan at about 35 deg. just wondering if it is worth the puny amount to upgrade to :

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Socket 939, Toledo Core, 2x 2.2GHz, 1MB Cache, OEM

would i see much benefit?
I mainly write music, but i play games when i get the chance.

plus will my board support it (GA-K8NSC-939)? Giga byte dont say the 4200+ toledo is supported, only the manchester. But i assume it would cos it supports other toledos.

and how over clockable would it be with my current setup.

mobo - GA-K8NSC-939
cpu - Athlon x64 3700+ sandiago
hsf - zalman 120mm Flower
ram - 4x512mb geil 2.5 ddr (dual channel)
gfx - radeon x1950 agp

not asking much i know ;)

thanks

thanks

I've seen it for £51 inc P&P.
This will probly be the last upgrade before a complete overhaul with new mobo ram etc. as this board has no pcie. (wanna make this one last as long as)
