3770 (non-k) overclocking question

Recently got an i7 3770 non-k and overclocked it by setting the multiplier to 41 (max available in bios) and upping the base clock to 104MHz. It's running at 4.3GHz when turbo kicks in and cpu-z shows all 4 cores running at this speed.

From reading around the web most articles suggest that only 1 core will actually run at the max speed so why is cpu-z and even hw-info showing all cores at 4.3GHz?
Is there any other way of determining if all cores are actually running at this speed?

Best way to test would be to use a multithreaded benchmark like wprime, and compare it to the scores other people get.

I think that is when the CPU is not clocked fs123, for example my 2500k when left alone, unclocked, the cores are set (if I can remember) to boost to x40 on the first core x39 on the second, x38 on the third and x37 on the forth.

But when I clock it to x45 they all run at x45 when boosting.

idk but this might be to spread the heat a little/keep the heat down a bit on the stock cooler.

It might be the same (somehow) with a none K version?

In theory you should be able to set all cores to the max turbo multiplier +4 bins with a non-k chip.
