3770k temps

Anyone have really varied temps on their cores?

Currently on HWMonitor it's showing this:

Core #0 28c
Core #1 34c
Core #2 40c
Core #3 24c

I know a few degrees is normal but 16c difference is massive.

I've reseated the h110 cooler as well but made no difference.

Normal, even when idle background processes will cause some cores to be higher the others and inconsistencies on the ihs, die tim and your cooler will also cause temp differences across cores

Have you tried taking temps underheavy load?
If that core is still significantly higher than the others at load, then you have a problem...
But I doubt it, its probably just that is the core your os chose to run its tasks.

Completely normal, same thing happens on my i5. I tried a re-seat and screwing the heatsink down tighter.. made 0 difference. It's just the poor TIM that Ivy uses!
