3800 Venice Vs 3700 SD?

Hey all

I can get a 3700 San Diego and an Artic Freezer Pro for £120

Or

A 3800 Venice and an Artic Freezer Pro for £115 from somewhere else.

Need to decide out of the two, and i'm going to be overclocking it.

Which would be better?

For overclocking, I'd get the 3700+ as it's only £5 more than your other choice and has 1MB cache

But your question...prices have changed quite dramatically this week so the 3800+ is now looking pretty good. But the 3700 is also a steal at £93. But then the the 4000+ also looks pretty damn sweet at £105. But then again, you may even want a dual core X2 3800+ for £117. These new prices make it hard to choose.

Personally, I'd narrow it down to a 3700+/4000+ or X2 3800+

Bit of a revival?

In the end i got the 3700 Good clockers aswell

Bit late but, you can overclock to get the extra speed of the 3800, you can't add the extra cache of the 3700.
