Hi i have installed the new 3800x with the prisim cooler that came with it which works ok but its a bit noisey !
any recomendations for a better cooler ?

If you go into the BIOS you should be able to set the CPU fan profile to quiet or silent mode, which should make a significant difference to the noise. Alternatively and if you have one, you can connect the stock fan to a fan controller and have it run at a constant speed which is as loud as you can tolerate.

I'll leave others to suggest better cooling solutions.

I’m using a Corsair H100i with mine. There are plenty of coolers that’ll do a good job with it, many of them cheaper than what I went with. Noctua’s NH-D15 SE-AM4 looks like a solid choice if you want a quiet air cooler.
