I've currently got a 3700 single core/1gb DDR400/X800XL.

Just noticed OCUK selling these 3800 X2's cheap but wandering if it's worth me replacing mine. Only really using my system for FS2004.

thanks

well as I'm not using the system for much, I wasn't really bothering, especially as the only other game I would be interested in is FSX, but it seems that needs top end machines and was thinking I would have to scrap my system for a new Intel dual core. But maybe I can get away with just replacing my ram and gfx and CPU will be sufficient? At least that way I guess I can keep my mobo.

Maybe I should grab the Corsair 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400 if my board will take it

Epox EP-9NPA+ Ultra

Can't make up mind here. Only use PC like once a week to go online with FS2004 which it runs happily, hmmmm

yep that's what I was thinking. as much as I would like to, the £50 could go towards some new double glazing that I need lol

Oh how houses change your priorities lol

If the Corsair 500W would do, would my existing Tagan 480W do? I think it's 480 or 450

Ok, cheers guys. Just had excellent news about my flat increasing in price now, just need to wait on how much my new kitchen is going to cost me, see if mate wants to buy mine and see what is left over :D

What's that card, ram and motherboard like? Is there any benefit of changing any of it. Just want to try and get it all down as close to £300 as possible. Probably will continue to use XP and only really used for FSX.

Thanks again
