Sorry if this has been posted before

Just want to know one thing..
I noticed that the 3850pro 512mb and the 3870xt 512mb have the same specifications (except that the pro uses GDDR3 and the XT uses GDDR4)
Is this a similar situation where the HD2900pro's that can be clocked to XT speed?

The 3850pro 512mb is going really cheap and it would be great if I can oc the pro to XT speed.

Basically it is the same but runs slower. However, the PCB is slighter different design, along with the GDDR3 Memory, so not sure what the maximum overclock someone has got out on 3850 512mb as yet. 1ghz has been achieved (on air!!!) on the 3870 however.
