I've not really been following graphics cards properly recently, but soon I may be looking to (finally) get rid of the 3870, and I'm looking at a 5770. Before I start pricing things up, what sort of gains would I get form a 5770 over the 3870? Lets just assume I'm not CPU limited at all.

Thanks guys.

(P.s. I did do a bit of googling, but wasn't able to find any comparisons that actually showed it agains the 3870.)

You will get a decent boost in performance :)

Ive gone from 2 4850's to a single 5770 and performance was better tbh, then adding my second a day later makes it even better :)

The 5770 is an excellent card, well worth it. As said before, you'll get a decent performance boost over what you have now.

I recently went from a single 3870->dual 3870->single 5770. To be honest, going from 2x3870 was pretty much a side-step. Performance is kinda similar (let's say 5770 is 20% faster) but the best thing is that it takes up much less space in my case and is super quiet!
