3870 Overclocking

Using rivatuner and such I think most people could hit 850-860mhz without touching voltage. With a simple pencil mod you can go much further though. I had my 3850 at 1ghz benchable and 950mhz completely stable.
 
Out of interest Gurusan.. what is the diff in performance between say, a 3850/70 @900Mhz compared to a 4850 @ stock? (as you have had both I thought it puts you in a good position to comment).

950 thats sick core :).

I think i've just got my limit @ 837core/ 1341 memory, thats without any mods tho.
Might try out some stuff later on.


Anyone else ? ;-)
